There are other ways to make do, but to be safe and do the best job, I would strongly suggest that you use a blade that is designed specifically for what you are doing. People telling you to turn the blade backwards are not wrong, you can do that, but a metal cutting blade would be the safest route especially if you are not very experienced with power tools.
